Lactation Counseling

Most breastfeeding difficulty shows up in the first two weeks, which is precisely when you are least equipped to research it. Latch pain, supply worry, a baby who will not settle, and conflicting advice from everyone who visits.

I am a Certified Lactation Counselor and a registered dietitian, which means the feeding question and the nutrition question get answered by the same person in the same visit — rather than sending you to a second appointment to ask why you are exhausted.

  • 20+ years experience
  • Most insurance accepted
  • Virtual & in-person

Who I work with

  • New mothers in the first weeks, when most problems appear
  • Painful latch or nipple damage
  • Genuine or suspected low supply
  • Mothers returning to work and building a pumping routine
  • Anyone weaning, at any stage, who wants to do it comfortably

What to expect

  • Observation of a full feed where possible
  • Practical work on latch and positioning
  • An honest assessment of whether supply is actually low — often it is not
  • A pumping and storage plan that fits your work schedule
  • Your own nutrition addressed at the same time, not as a separate visit
